I've seen it get pretty heated. Back when I was using OS/2, I subscribed to
several OS/2 user groups and FIDO echos. Some of the arguments were pretty bad.
Of course, to keep the arguments going, the various participants would
crosspost into competing OS groups. It wasn't long before I unsubscribed from
most of the groups.

I figure if they like the OS, good for them and more power to 'em.

It's hard to buy a PC without an OS installed unless you go through a small
shop. I think there is a way to order a PC from Dell and maybe HP without an OS
if you order off the web, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, the OS war is over and I'll not reply to the other party ever again.
That is unless he grows up some.
