 Who did they defraud? They did not defraud the people they are
 meeting with. They defrauded Acorn, if they defrauded anyone.

 Now, how many minimum wage operations wind up with a lot of
 people who cut corners and cheat the employer? Next time someone
 calls you from a credit card company, he may not be in India or
 China, he may be in prison. Some phone solicitation companies
 hire prisoners for less than minimum wage.

 No, ten million registrations. You are talking about over the
 years, so 500,000 a year for 20 years is 10,000,000. And I got
 my numbers the same place you got yours, pure speculation.

 John, 5% spoilage is not all that bad for a manufacturer. Where
 I work 3% is considered good. 5% is not truly unusual. After
 all, you thought 5% unemployment was good, didn't you? Yet that
 means over 5 million people out of work.

 When you are dealing with the public, having 5% be difficult is
 not a bad percentage, esp when it's something controversial, and
 esp when 30% would benefit from messing with you.

 Go out and collect signatures on a petition for just about
 anything. See how many people put down false and plain dumb
 names, just to mess with you.

 Oh, and duplicate registrations are not even illegal. They are a
 waste of time, and cost Acorn money, but they aren't illegal, as
 long as the put down the same info that applies to their
 original registration.

 Yet you don't show Acorn itself did one single thing illegal. In
 fact, I would bet they haven't, simply because the Bush
 administration would have jumped all over it if they did.
