DD> Perhaps one of the most interesting words in the English language
DD> today, is the word fuck. Out of all the English words that begin with
DD> the letter 'f' ...fuck is the only word referred to as 'the f word...
DD> It's the one magical word. Just by its sound can describe pain,
DD> pleasure, hate and love. Fuck, as most words in the English language
DD> is derived from German ...the word fuieken, which means to strike.

DD> In English, fuck falls into many grammatical categories:

DD> As a transitive verb for instance ...John fucked Shirley.
DD> As an intransitive verb...Shirley fucks.

DD> Its meaning is not always sexual, it can be used as...

DD> An adjective such as ...John's doing all the fucking work.
DD> As part of an adverb ...Shirley talks too fucking much.
DD> As an adverb enhancing an adjective ...Shirley is fucking beautiful.
 DD> As a noun ...I don't give a fuck.
DD> As part of a word ...absofuckinglutely -or- infuckingcredible.
DD> And as almost every word in a sentence ...Fuck the fucking fuckers.

DD> As you must realize, there aren't too many words with the versatility

DD> Fraud ...I got fucked at the used car lot.
 DD> Dismay ...ahhh fuck it.
DD> Trouble ...I guess I'm really fucked now.
DD> Aggression ...Don't fuck with me buddy.
DD> Difficulty ...I don't understand this fucking question.
DD> Inquiry ...Who the fuck was that?
DD> Dissatisfaction ...I don't like what the fuck is going on here.
 DD> Incompetence ...He's a fuck-off.
DD> Dismissal ...Why don't you go outside and play hide and go fuck
 DD> yourself...

DD> I'm sure you can think of many more examples.

DD> With all these multi-purpose applications, how can anyone be offended
DD> when you use the word. We say use this unique, flexible word more
DD> often in your daily speech.

DD> It will identify the quality of your character immediately.
DD> Say it loudly and proudly... FUCK YOU!

DD> Transcribed from a Monty Python skit.

Eric Idle from Monty Python had some fun with "fuck." <G>

DD> Who was talking about a third party? Toss the bastard out within their

 DD> sitting Senator Bob Bennett.

More like the Troglodyte Faction in that party.

DD>> I merely meant that the electorate should rise up and throw the
 DD> bums out.

EH>> I agree, but I'm also a realist and understand that there is no
DD> viable EH> third party to choose from.

DD> Which fits into your narrow view of politics. Sort of like the phrase
DD> from that Middle Eastern religion "As it was in the beginning, is now,
DD> and ever shall be." You're the one ringing in third parties. Not that
DD> it's impossible to get a "third" party going. Or even a fourth.
 DD> Difficult, but, not impossible.

Very occasionally, a third party can have some success.
I still remember how both the democrats and republicans in Minnesota
were stumbling around in a daze after Jesse Ventura beat them.

But, Ventura's gone off the deep end too nowadays.

DD> What does your talking point have to do with the subject at hand. You
DD> begin to sound like Sarah "I Quit" Palin. I could have cited P. A.
DD> Woertz at ADM (2009 compensation $15,466,064) or C. Robert Henrikson
DD> at Metlife (2009 compensation $11,600,338). Probably should have as
DD> that would not give you an opportunity for an unrelated talking point
 DD> interjection.

DD>> Congresscritters pay should come from and be set by their home
DD> district. DD> Or their own pocket - except that would open a whole
DD> new keg of nails as DD> only the uber-rich would be able to afford
DD> to be a congress critter. And DD> we all know what sort of oligarchy
DD> that leads to, don't we?

EH>> I think there should be some pay for elected officials, but it
DD> needs to EH> be limited to their support while in session. I think
DD> it obscene that EH> someone can enter elective office poor and after

DD> "I have the consolation of having added nothing to my private fortune

I'm for a means test for Congress and the President.

If a politician is rich enough, he doesn't need all those goodies, free
health care like Crashcart Cheney got, free office space, etc.
