The way I look at it, people should always have ultimate control over their own
bodies.  It's the only thing in life where your ownership is entirely
irrevocable.  Well, unless someone kills you.

That's viability, and one of the two options I offered.  Even then, that
doesn't mean that, once removed from the woman, the child would survive.

I'm not willing to ban any of them, because I don't think it's a matter of law
but of the mother's rights and the advice of her medical professional(s).
However, the anti-womens-rights crowd tends to act like late term abortions
(especially IDX) are the norm, when in fact, they account for a small, small
percentage of all abortions performed.

I don't think it should be illegal.  I think the mothers rights are always
paramount, and always supercede whatever may be inside her.  I don't think it's
ethical to perform an abortion on a viable fetus, but, it still has to be left
up to the mother and doctor to decide whether or not it's warranted.

Yeah, it's no skin off my back.  We just won't reach any sort of agreement on
anything.

A woman's body will often do this via miscarriages.  There are also a number of
other areas where the potential life of the fetus and the mother's life are in
contention.  If a mother wants to risk her own life for something that may or
may not survive, that's up to her.  Likewise, if she chooses her own life,
that's up to her as well.  In my opinion, the government has absolutely no
place in making laws in this area.

I'm not pro-abortion, as I've stated many times.  I think the fewer abortions
performed, the better.  But, there's a very simple way for me to not take part
in abortions.  I can simply avoid having one.  Since I didn't come with the
equipment necessary to have carry children, it's never going to be an issue for
me, so it's a pretty easy one.  But for women that do have the equipment, and
do find themselves in that position, it's always, without a doubt, 100% their
choice, and should always remain so.  Anyting to the contrary is removing the
rights a woman has over her own body, and that's wrong.

Needless to say, if men needed abortions, this would be a non-issue.
