Or, it was Spock "exaggerating", as he did in ST-II.

Agreed. My respect for the character jumped big time after that
scene. I really did think he would wind up being some kind of bad
guy, and that would be the way T'Pol got out of it.

>Now T'Pol and Trip have something new to talk about... =20

Yeah, but imagine Trip's reactions had he been able to hear the
conversation. Especially after T'Pol said "You don't have to do
this." Trip would have been saying, "What?! He's offering you a way
out. Take it! Take it!". LOL! Speaking of those two, we know
Spock was the first Human/Vulcan hybrid, but has it been stated
anywhere that Sarak and Amanda were the first Vulcan and Human couple?
If not, then there is nothing to say T'Pol and Trip couldn't wind up
being together, but have no children. That was certainly hinted at by
the future T'Pol we saw in "E2".

>And Vulcan gets a whole new style of thought. My question is whether=
 or

 if

I hope so. I also hope there will be other Vulcan memories and
mannerisms, so that later people will react to little things he says
and does. It would be a nice touch of continuity, and add depth to
the character. Plus, it would help explain his importance to the
creation of the Federation. He would be the only human who could
truly understand Vulcans, as much as a human can, at least. Other
events in this story arc also position Archer as a critical piece to
the puzzle of the Federation formation. By carrying the katra of
Surak and finding the Tal'Shara, he now has the gratitude and respect
of (almost) all Vulcans, far beyond that of any other human. I would
think Trip would also be respected by the Vulcans for what he did. He
put his life and the ship in danger to help prevent a war that would
have devastated both Vulcan and Andoria. Which means Trip scored
points with the Andorians too. What did Shran mean when he said,
"Tell Archer now he owes me too!"? Did he help save the Enterprise
at one point in the battle? I need to go back and rewatch that. I
would think Shran owes both Trip and Soval big time for coming to him
and telling him what was going on.

Agreed.

Well, we know that Vulcan and Andoria wind up allies in the Federation
later, so it makes sense that events would start happening to align
them.

LOL! Yeah, and that tractor beam technology would come in handy at
times too.

I don't think anyone who has been watching this season will stop now.

One of the best.
