Well, I'm not so easily angered, especially not when I'm struggling with

Maybe I should try Gmail, but I really don't like that idea either.
I have a feeling that Google (Gmail), plays in the same league as M$.

OTOH, my GS created a Gmail address for me, because he uses that, but
when I tried to get into it, I didn't succed. The reason was that one
character in the password was wrong. I haven't tried since, though I
got the correct chr from my GS.

The chr was a capital one, but I had tred with a lower case letter.
Gmail is case sensitive, you know. <BG>

I know about cut-and-paste, my problem was (is) to get the wanted text
displayed. Even that had been unnecessary, because the wanted text was
already on that other media. I just wanted it inserted into the e-mail.

It's easy as a pie, doing it with this QWK program, with the QEdit or
Semware Editor. Just Ctrl-KR (read) f:\dir\file.txt, and voil  it's here

Well yes, there is an edit command in the T-bird menu, but I didn't
become successful with that either.

Easy as a pie in this QWK editor, but apparently I have to first show it
before I can cut-and-paste it into T-bird.

I just wish that I could replace the T-bird editor, with for example,
The Semware Editor, that is available in two Windows versions, and can
be configured to use WordStar, Borland, Word Perfect, etc. commands.

As I wrote, I'm newbie trying to learn how to do things in Thunderbird.
