Ärende: MAX HDD size for Win2K?

I set up a computer for the wife and I'm not giving her any RAID system, so
I set up all the hard drives as IDE - much easier and I can always install
more hard drives if she has a need. Right now, there is a 160GB drive for
the boot / system programs and a 500GB for whatever.

I copied the entire CD to a source folder because nLite just takes what it
needs and you can specify what folders to drop when you're configuring
nLite in preparation for the CD (or Image) burn.

I did find a little quirk that I'm not particularly enthusiastic about.
nLite creates a bunch of INI files and leaves then in the root of the
source folder, its' own "prefetch" folder and possibly some other folders.
I found this out by jumping from an XP SlipStream build to a W2K SlipStream
build - wanted to apply the same configuration to the W2K as was set with
the XP build (I burned a couple of 'coaster' CDs until I finally figured
this out). I also suspect nLite may be "touching" / "tweaking" some of the
M$ files but that may be my overly active paranoia coming to the front.

Nope; I can't afford to do that. I'll be working until I die on the job or
win the Lottery (and the Lottery chances are highly improbable...)

           Thanks ... Gerald
