Most of the folks who own Macs and participate in the various forums, likewise
own a PC.  But we are beginning to see more younger people (college -
university) using Macs.  As far as applications are concerned, everything I
formerly used on our PC I now have the Mac equivalent.  I do not dual boot the
Mac.

My son still uses his company issued Dell at home to access his bank's server. 
Can't do it from his iMac.

I've seen various Vaio machines on sale even direct from Sony.  They certainly
are nice but as I mentioned before, just as pricey as the Mac notebooks.  A 13"
notebook has the advantage of being light weight and easy to carry, however, a
screen that small is not well suited for someone like me, at least not for long
periods of use.  At home I have the MacBook plugged into a 22" Samsung
Syncmaster.  That along with an Apple aluminum keyboard and mouse, it becomes a
very nice desktop machine.

Enjoy the weekend.  Texas hot weather is approaching.  Already have the  air
conditioning turned on at the church and at home.
