Actually there is a small left field seating area on the main level next to the

visitng bullpen, but the majority of left field seats are in the upper deck and

they are bleacher seats. have a look at Seattle.mariners.mlb.com and you 
can see what the park looks like, and even what the views look like from the 
seats! It's actually a pretty cool site!

Correct scenario yes.
Well the correct context is that PayRod repeatedly said "It's NOT about 
money, I want to play for a winning team." (which at that time the Mariners 
actually WERE). Then when the offer from the mariners came it would have 
made him the highest paid ballplayer in history....the texas offer then came in

at almost double the mariners offer...and he went to texas...which was a last 
place team when they made the offer, and remained a last place team the 
entire time PayRod was there...in fact Texas had to pay Most of his 25 
mill/year salary even after he moved to the Yanks (I think they paid 
14mill/year for three years to the Yanks). What the Seattle Fans Still see is 
the utter hypocrasy of PayRod to say one thing and do the opposite. 
Now I'm not likely to be put in the position to turn down 250 million dollars
so 
it's easy for me to say I would turn it down. But I would have. For several 
reasons; First, If I say it's not about money and then prove that it is all 
simply about the size of the pile...then I am a liar and a whore...and being a 
liar would be the worse of those two appellations. Second, my word is my 
bond, I don't give it lightly and when I do I am obligated to honor it, even if
it 
is to my disadvantage. It has cost me at times, in money, and opportunities, 
but I'd rather be an honest poor man than a tainted Caesar whose word can't 
be trusted. Honor is like virginity, once it's gone you can never regain it.  
third and last is that baseball is a team sport, and when one player puts 
himself above the rest of the team and hurts the team (which PayRod's salary 
did to texas, they could barely afford any players while saddled with his 
massive salary) he should not to praised for his avarice but he should be 
called to account for it, and the only way that can be done to PayRod is with 
boo's of derision from the fans...and you can count on that happening 
everytime he comes to Seattle...forever and ever amen. (off my soapbox now 
(G)G)
If I caught a homerun hit by PayRod, I'd throw it back on the field...and I 
would not do that for any other player in baseball right now.
