Thank you for the good wishes.  After a scare like that, we were very relieved
to find out it wasn't anywhere else - the Doc said they won't do chemo therapy
since her physical state is so poor right now (also a relief).

Thank you for mentioning that -  Much appreciated :) I think with Ron's help,
things should be ok.

I dunno Michael, I don't think those soup crackers have much in the way of
protein and minerals, etc. in them (bg).

It's amazing sometimes the abuse our bodies will take (I know I haven't always
eaten with the best habits, as well.   When I was just too darn tired to eat,
often I'd just eat a yogurt - that may sound like healthier fare, but one can't
survive on that either :)

Ah.. hopefully I will have spinach .. I'm pretty sure I bought seeds for a
later maturing type that can take the heat of July.. I normally do at least :)
As far as green tomatoes, I probably will given the weather around here this
spring.. Glad you like them (grin).

haha.. true.  It's amazing what people will put on pizza sometimes - I'm
thinking of pineapple, etc.  argh.. but to each his own taste (grin)

No problem.. Syracuse is about an hour from Windsor IIRC..

Fried green tomatoes are really good :)  Mom would sometimes do them this way,
as well:

===Green Tomatoes in Olive Oil===
Green Tomatoes
salt
garlic
fennel
olive oil, chopped

Slice tomatoes thin.  Place in layers, and salt the layers.  Put a heavy dish
on top of the tomatoes.  Put weights on the heavy dish and leave overnight.
Wash slices.  Place in a colander to drain.  Combine chopped garlic, fennel and
olive oil in a bowl.  Add some tomato slices, add more oil and mix.  Continue
adding tomatoes and oil until all the slices are added.  Cover and keep
refrigerated until ready to serve.
