Does sound nasty, doesn't it :(

That's neat - their home page looks like it's a good service.

Ok, can understand that.. Well, hope you do have some good discussions there
and if not discussions, some good food and such ;)

Sure, Jeff's been running PCBoard for a long time - I remember his helpful msgs
in the PCBoard echo 'back a ways'.. :)

That's interesting... a slaw based on mustard - well, why not.. I throw
pineapple in mine (grin).. that's something I picked up from Ron's Mom. She
made the greatest coleslaw :)

=Coleslaw
3 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup shredded onions
8 ounce can drained crushed pineapple 2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
2/3 cup mayonnaise
Freshly ground black or white pepper to taste Mix well and chill before serving

I looked for some recipes that use mustard in coleslaw and the ingredients
looked great.. saw one with sour cream/mayo and cayenne.. that could be a bit
'zesty', that's for sure.. :)

Lol I bet :) But they do sound great.. I love those kinds of cheese sticks..
mozarella sticks, etc.

Oh now you're starting to sound like me with the weird hours I keep (laugh).
I'd bet it has to do with how overtired you are.

Ouch.. I want to call my Aunt and see how she's doing there with the southern
heat.. I talked to one of her sons the other day.. He's the cousin of mine
there in Atlanta who is a policeman.. he actually is a bomb squad kind of
policeman complete with police dog to sniff out bombs.. scarey stuff.. And one
of my sisters just moved to Atlanta.. What is the big draw there, huh? :) :)
Here we're thinking of moving more north (Ithaca) :)

Exactly - and that is so neat that you have the chance to meet with them and
talk.

Could work.. I mean, we used to have BBS get-togethers every chance we could in
Middletown NY before we moved to Kentucky.. so there's certainly nothing wrong
with having more than one get-together. Given the expense of traveling these
days it could be the best idea.

Now that sounds neat :)

> As for the political stuff, we should go over to the POLITICS echo,

True :)

> but that may be a "Daniel in the lion's den" situation for you. <G>

Lol :) Well, I was just cracking up at latest gwb stuff going on,
almost enhanced it seems by the democratic contender for the office of
President... Where does that leave this country? Hasn't anyone read the
constitution? bugs me quite a bit, it's true (g).

> I've become more and more apolitical. When I can properly purchase

Lol :) Well, if I win the lotto, I'll send you some $$ to make sure you buy
the right ones (g)

> And now a recipe to atone for my off-topic sinning:

(grin) Mea culpa

I might try this... I love brown rice, but don't cook it so often because it
doesn't seem to fit in my alloted time slot for such things (laugh) - in
otherwords, it takes a bit longer to cook than White Rice. You have to
remember that before you start making dinner (g).

Take care,
Janis
