Hi Ruth,

hahaha.. ok, I said it all by myself, but you were definitely involved ;)

Don't have to worry about that for a bit yet anyway, but steps can indeed be a
major PIA.. :( This week my legs got really bad because of this lovely flu I
got just after Christmas ... I took some baclofen I had in my medicine cabinet
(another drug that at the time I got it, did NOTHING for me at all..) and even
my balance is better now.. kind of shocking to me.

Definitely cat-like :)

Yes, that's true. Well, luckily with the veggies I've canned and (mostly)
frozen from the garden, we don't have to buy a lot anyway..

Yep, that is so true.. Over here, we do leave a bag with just refundable cans
separately for our neighbors.. they can use the $$, and we sure don't mind
doing it... if it helps them, that's good.

I bought Tina canned food once, that I remember.. she turned her nose up at it
;) so back to dry stuff for her.. I attributed her taste to the difference
between canned food and 'fresh bird' she probably survived on before we took
her in :) :)

> -> then my blender died from me dropping in the sink (well, the jar died,

Yeah, I was kind of surprised at this one cracking.. and the sink over here is
stainless, not ceramic or cast-iron.. I guess it just hit "wrong".

Sounds neat :) I have a meat grinder attachment for my KitchenAid mixer, but I
mostly use that for grinding hamburger, that kind of thing.. I started doing
that rather than trust hamburger products at Wegmans.. who needs MadCow? :)

> -> Yeah, I think that was it ... certainly noticible difference in the

That's true!

Very true.. so do dogs.. I've always thought it was funny to see a dog love
eating the stuff :)

Take care,
Janis
