We have been to a place called The Mongolian Grill.  You picked out
meats and sauces, and handed them to a guy who put them onto grill that
looked like a monster upside down wok.  They got sort of stir fried and
he gave them back to you in a bowl.  Everything we tried came out rather
bland and tasting the same.  I don't think the place is there anymore.

The Asian buffet that we used to like, and have talked about here, was
called the Panda buffet.  It got taken over by another outfit with the
name Hibachi in it.  We went there once and the buffet part was a good
step down from what the Panda had been.  We did not even bother with the
hibachi part since it seemed too much like that Mongolian Grill we gave
up on years ago.  Ditto with the sushi -- never cared for it anyhow.

I wish that we had some sort of place with fresh seafood raw bar on a
buffet.  It is about the only way I'd eat raw oysters.  I like them ok,
but $0.50 to $1.00 per slurp seems a bit too much.

      Title: Neopolitan Sandwiches
 Categories: Sandwich
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      2 sl White bread buttered on 1
           Side
      1 sl Brown bread buttered on both
           Sides
      2    Fillings (recipes follow)
           Food colouring, if desired
           Foil

MMMMM-------------------TOMATO CHEESE FILLING------------------------
      2 lg Tomatoes,chopped
      2 oz Cheese
      2 tb Butter
      1    Beaten egg
      1 lg Onion,chopped
      1 ts Chopped parsley
           Pepper and salt to taste
           Breadcrumbs

MMMMM------------------SARDINE AND EGG FILLING-----------------------
  3 1/2 oz Tin sardines
      1 tb Butter
      1 ts Lime juice
      2    Hardboiled eggs
           Pepper and salt, to taste
      1 ts Chopped parsley

MMMMM----------------SWEET PEPPER AND CHEESE FILL---------------------
      1 lg Sweet pepper,chopped
      4 oz Cream cheese
      1 tb Butter
    1/2 ts White pepper
           Salt

MMMMM--------------------CHICKEN WITH CHUTNEY-------------------------
      1 c  Minced cooked chicken
      2 tb Mango chutney
           Salt to taste
    1/4 c  Fine diced celery
           Salad cream (moderator's
           Note: salad dressing/mayonna
           Se?)
 
  Spread 2 varieties of filling on white bread. fix neatly together with
  brown bread in the middle between the two fillings. Tint the fillings
  with pastel shades of food colouring if desired. Wrap in foil and
  chill, then cut into two triangles or 4 squares.
  
  For the tomato filling --
  Mix together chopped tomato, chopped onion,salt and pepper and chopped
  parsley. Add butter and beaten egg. Mix well. cook in saucepan over
  heat until egg is cooked. Take off and stir in grated cheese and
  sufficient breadcrumbs to make a smooth paste. Use for sandwiches.
  
  For the sardine & egg filling --
  Crush sardines and eggs with butter. Add pepper and salt to taste,
  Then add lime juice and chopped parsley. Blend well. Fish may be
  substitued for sardines.
  
  For a pepper & cheese filling --
  Chop pepper finely and blend in butter and cream cheese. Season with
  pepper and salt to taste.
  
  for the chicken chutney --
  Blend together ingredients using enough salad cream to moisten.
