Yeah.  :)  BTW, I heard one of the sponsers for a symphony broadcast
that sounded like it could be helpful... a place on the web called
caremanager.com that helps one find people that can help you manage care
for yourself or your loved ones... supposedly the website tells where
the service is available... haven't checked it out, but it might be
worth a try...  :)

It apparently is something that they like to do.  I suspect that neither
the cost nor the effort is the major factor in doing it... Could be the
taste is what they are after... :)  Or just the good feeling of having
done something productive... :)

I have another friend that takes the hearing aid out when she talks on
the phone... ;0

I usually grab the "local" cordless to have by me where I'm working,
whether the kitchen one at the kitchen table, or the upstairs hall one
at the computer... and then return it to its base when I leave the area.

Well, they are still adults with working minds, so they can still make
their own decisions... we don't always know all the factors they use to
make some calls... I'm sure sometimes our adult kids think we are being
stubborn about some things, too... ;)

And that's not a bad thing, to be planning ahead, and to be somewhat
prepared for probable contingencies...  I know what you are saying...
I've had to do similar paring down of what I do, based on what is
possible or wise, given my physical condition... and I still end up
sometimes doing more than probably I should... or don't do sometimes
what maybe I am still able to do... sometimes it's a judgement call.
