I was going to a Christian school at the time (and it was a Bible
conference, too)... nothing wrong with the song, a little raucous maybe,
and maybe not the best sentiments, but nothing risque or really bad.

My parents were in on the planning for their 50th, we planned it as a
family conference, and Mommy thought that with all the talent in the
family it would be a nice addition to an otherwise basic open house
idea.  We did it at church, so there'd be room for everybody.  We had
refreshments downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.  When they had their
60th, Daddy wasn't in very good health so all we did was have the
reception for them at church in the Fellowship Hall.

You're still assuming that the original recipe was what was really being
used, and not just using that as an inspiration for something better. ;)
