Makes "pounding the keys" a reality instead of just a saying. I've heard
it used in connection with pianos as well as typewriters, actually heard
the term "keypounders" more often.

Did you ever think you would be carrying around a computer with you?
When I was taking my classes here, I told some of my fellow students
that I got my BA when computers took up a whole room (or more) and most
of my papers were done on a manual typewriter. Some of the kids had a
"what's a typewriter?" sort of look on their faces. (G)

As we've made some things generic. Saw in the paper the other day that
the EU wants the US to stop calling cheeses made here by names of
cheeses made over there. Said parm, feta, etc should only be used for
cheeses made in Parma, Greece, etc and US made ones, including, as they
referred to, "the tall green can" be parm like or in the style of feta.
Try to pull that one off successfully--not!
