Sounds good.. if you're going to be in the area, I can dig them up.. or if not,
I can mail it to you. I'm glad to know you may find some use for them.

>> did was a couch :) That was the first one I did. Good place to start

Yes, and the couch looked great. IIRC, I used a really nice looking bedspread
or quilt type thing on that couch because it didn't look like a bedspread, but
had a really pretty floral pattern. It held up well which was good. I have a
couple of bolts of different kinds of upholtery fabric here as well, that I
bought for a few projects. One I used to recover the chair seats on an antique
dining room set I had. The velvet seats were in abolute tatters so replacing
them gave new life to that set. I sold the set shortly afterwards. Now I have
a living room chair that the puppies "ate" shortly after we got them ... the
little 'angels' (ha)... Now that they are older and mostly well-behaved, my
plan is to reover that one with the bolt of goldish-green velvet I bought on
sale a few years ago. That one will take some time since I have to also get
stuffing for it which I don't have at the moment.

Sounds like a good plan.. we often moved dressers that way as well... drawers
could be taken out and moved as is, essentially. Clothes on hangers were often
moved as is in the back of the car, etc.

>> We had a carriage house in Windsor and a "real garage" here in

We emptied out the one in Windsor last weekend.. and we found a hammock we'd
forgotten we had :) :) I could only laugh.. :) We'll get that up here next
summer no doubt.

>>> "the sewing room" when I'm working on it.. You know, have to move

>> Fantastic :) I just have to have Ron get rid of some stuff in there I

> It helps to have a dedicated sewing area, especially for big projects

Yes, it really does make it so much easier to work, and even to start on
projects.. That's probably a mental block for me.. if it's not easy to get to,
or whatever, there's always the energy "thing" fighting with me (grin).

===Pasta e fagioli===
2 Tablespoons Olive oil
3 slices bacon
1 stalk celery
1 carrot
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
2 cans cannellini beans
1/4 cup tomato sauce or tomato paste 2 cups small macaroni
1 quart + 2 cups chicken stock or water 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper or to taste
pinch of basil

In a blendar or food processor, grind the bacon, celery, carrot, onion and
garlic until mush.

Heat the olive oil in a 4 or 6 quart pan. Add the mush and saute over med.
high heat. Add the tomato sauce, simmer for a minute or two and then add the
beans, crushing some of the beans on the side of the pot as you add them. Add
the chicken stock or water, and salt, pepper. Bring to a boil then add the
macaroni. Reduce the heat to simmer. Simmer until thick, adjust seasonings to
taste.

Take care,
Janis
