Yes, for sure.. wonder if that's why they made all the parts "pop-off"-ish so
to speak (G) "Some idiot might try this with bread dough..." Lol

Yes, understand that one Lol... Ron is usually asking if he can help some way,
but generally it's not necessary. It's nice though when it _is_ necessary and
he steps in :) Last weekend I had a ouchey-dammit fall when I tripped over my
own feet/the kitchen chair/the dog/the air/ (grin). I landed on my hands
somewhere in there, and since the weekend my right hand has been killing me..
so when we've had pasta, he's had to dump the ronies into the colander.. I was
thankful... It is starting to let up at least. Probly a bad sprain.

That sounds so very sad, but I understand.. Holidays are good now, but
certainly not the same as before when we could all gather at Mom's.

I bet they loved that when you could do it.. Reminds me of Easter.. I try to
make a sweet easter bread with colored eggs baked in it every Easter... Now
with this new mixer, it should be easy at least :)

I resisted it from the begining Lol... but to each his own. I'm kind of rough
on my toys so... :)

I had a cassette tape player and an AMC radio once Lol After I met Ron and we
were doing puppet shows all over the eastern seaboard, we had a "cassette
deck".. It was a monster system that could play tapes. We puppeteers filled in
the dialog.. was neat.

hahahahahaha :) yes, that would have worked and saved me a LOT of $$$ :)
> Isn't your current blender a Ninja...?
Well, I have both.. think about it.. the ninja container is only about 2 1/2
cups max.. the blender jar is over a quart.. I think (g)

Yeah.. I think Ron's family was like that.. mine wasn't..I mean I remember
spitting put veggies and other "strange" foods into napkins, while my oldest
sister was lining up rigatonis like army squadrons hahahaha.. we didn't care so
much about food :)

Me too... Certainly because say when people come over the house needs a
cleaning too (g).. but what he read was more that if you keep falling asleep
after you eat, that's a sign of "fatigue".. and he read that when you're
fatigued you're hungry.. it's like a warped brain response...

Yes, and good oatmeal.. not like the kind you buy in stores maybe you can still
find groats at your healthfood store.. I see the site I usually order from,
http://pleasanthillgrain.com/, is now only selling BULK packages, like 39lbs
for $100.00 ... sad. They used to sell it in 2lb. packages kind of envelopes..
have to go searching when I run out but I think the last time I ordered, I got
a case of 5 or 6 #10 cans of groats so I could flake them with my grain mill.
Take care,
Janis
