I am *not* pro-Israel by any means.  I have often pointed my 
attitude toward the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, "A pox on both 
your houses!"  Furthermore I've often complained about the 
knee-jerk pro-Israel stance usually taken by newly inaugurated 
U.S. Presidents.  If the Israelis and the Palestinians can't 
stand each other, let them both fight it out with no help from us 
or from others.  We can go with the survivors.
