True of any government agency. They have to make themselves look important
to ensure that their influx of subsidies remain intact.

But then the 'floaters' would make the agency look unimportant.

Sounds like Japan and China, one of which still hunt whales, even though

No, it was at first thought that German and French be included. The Dutch
had left the continent long before official language came up in the US
Congress...

Dunno why, since there are stockpiles of airplanes and parts laying in the
Arizona desert, waiting for an order to be requested by airline companies.

The military has its own stockpile of planes and parts.

That should be how our political system works...we have a 'do nothing'
Senate that stands in the way of everything this country needs to recover
from this recession and they're still there blocking progress.
