March 16, 1968.
347 to 504 dead men, women, children, and infants.
All Vietnamese non-combatants.
Murdered in cold blood.
By US Army soldiers of Company C of the 1st Battalion,
20th Infantry Regiment, 11th Brigade of the 23rd Infantry
Division.

26 American soldiers were charged with having committed
a crime, but only Lt. William Calley Jr., a lowly platoon
leader, was found guilty of killing 22 unarmed villagers.
Originally sentenced to life in prison, he served only 3
and a half years, all under house arrest, never having
had to spend a single day in prison.

in Vietnam until much, much later.  And most Americans never

after having been convicted and sentenced to life.

The United Nations has condemned Israel for many actions,
and will do so again.  And what will Israel do in response?
Shrug her shoulders, if anything at all.  Israel knows the
UN is incompetent, not able to enforce a single resolution
that is passed against the Jewish state.
