Exactly. The *C's are the *C's and the FTSC is the FTSC.

And I would prefer it to remain that way. Each have their jobs and that is best
done if the FTSC remains an independant body.

Indeed, why not? The other candidates however van not vote for themselves, so
that would give him an unfairt advantage.

As I read it, the whole procedure never foresaw this situation and simply went
from the assumption that the RC's and REC's nominate and vote and the
candidates get voted in or out.

The list has no official status until the start of voting. So it does not
matter.
