Last I heard, she had to leave her cop BF in a hurry. She's extra, *extra*

When I heard the above from her half brother over the phone, I said to him, "I
feel sorry. ...Always living her life in a state of turmoil."

After a short pause, "Oh, OK. Well, bye then..." Ya, I think she was on the
extension. <LOL> Ya still want her to call ya? She's likely looking for new
living arrangements by now. <ROTF... Literally... ;->

Oh, they spent plenty of time on the cases. If they spent some of that time on
the logics, I'd dare say they'd be dangerous. "Nice lipstick, but it's on a
twelve yo."

I get twice as much, for pennies on the dollar. I have to wait a bit for it,
but considering economy, $10-$20 for P!!! SMP, populated w/3rd party RAID
controllers, (Switchable to pure U2 Wide, thick, whatever...) in addition to
the two onboard Adaptecs (One always seems inept.) and some pretty speedy
drives, and near 1G of ECC RAM in them all... Considering the equivalent in a
IDE system, with one CPU... At the time I couldn't have come *close* to that
deal. Heck, today I doubt I could get a SATA *anything* for the price, and I'm
not too distant a second in speed. When you want to do maximum damage, with the
fewest dollars, give me a ring. <BFatWEG>

I researched the prices, and most of the RAID controllers were current
production runs, or just revised. E-bay *or* new, most were going for $125 US,
and that was when we were at 70-80 cents to their dollar. No, I think I'll be
OK on the MIPS per Monies. <LOL>

So now I practice how to pick the junk locks they include, and find out how
badly the second SCSI controllers work, and why they all included the third...
Someone asked when I scored the 3CPU Xeon Compaq what I was planning to do with
it, "It might become a part of a cluster, or I can shove a stick of dynamite in
it and have some real fun." Turns out, I took a small profit, and sold it to a
former sysop. Hotplug PCI on that one, but he could better afford the power to
run that pig.

When I couldn't find my spares, I slipped 'em in raw, and used two chopsticks
to float 'em up to the right height. Airflow can't be that picky.

Something else I'll pick up in five years for ten bucks, in a quad core, dual
hoop with ice cream, whipped cream and a cherry on top. I'll supply my *own*
nuts!
