EH>> Again you assume too much. Are you here to discuss the issues or
EH>> are you here just to spew your hatred of America?
BF> I'm here to discuss the issues but when you can't take any
BF> criticism without referring to WWII and say that I'm always wrong it's a
BF> bit hard for me to keep up any reasonable discussion.
Don't you get it that nothing exists in a vacuum? What is happening today has
its roots in what happened in the past. The things that make up your social
mores are based on things that happened long before you were born. Its called
continuity, and without it, you have no frame of reference for current events.
What happened in your country in WWII is still affecting how things are done
today, just like here or in Germany or Japan, or any other country.
BF> Haven't you read what everyone are telling me? "We do what we like
BF> regardless what you think". What kind of discussion is that?
You are making no attempt whatsoever to understand why we take that attitude.
Your responses make that very apparent.
BF>>> You are the attorney that says he didn't do any wrong and I'm the
BF>>> procecutor that says he did.
EH>> No, the person is always innocent until proven guilty.
BF> And I'm trying to tell you that he isn't that innocent you will
BF> make him. That's my "job" as a procecutor but I haven't convictied him.
BF>>> Let's see what the Court decides.
BF>>> Isn't that how it works, even in USA?
EH>> Nope.
BF> Sorry, you have a jury but what's the difference.
BF>>> EH> Iraq isn't the first conflict this world has seen.
BF>>>
BF>>> And not the last.
EH>> True. Your point?
BF> Wonder if we are going to see any American troops in it...
BF> What do you think?
BF>>> EH> Maybe you should do a little soul-searching.
BF>>>
BF>>> If I do it, can you promise to do the same?
EH>> I do, everyday.
BF> Well, it doesn't show.
BF>>> We don't have a regular army, only volunteers.
EH>> We have an all volunteer military as well.
BF> Ehh..you misunderstood me.
BF> Our army isn't a "payed" one. Our youngsters are draftees for
BF> about a year and get payed almost nothing but they will have an
BF> education when they leave. Only the officers have it as a job and train
BF> the draftees.
There is a vast difference in the quality of soldier between a draftee and a
volunteer.
BF>>> Interesting. How does your bullits and boms see the different
BF>>> between a soldier and civilians?
EH>> They don't. The difference between our military and the insurgents
EH>> is that our military doesn't willfully target innocent civilians.
EH>> Zarqawi's bunch are indescriminate and target anyone they don't
EH>> like.
BF> Such as American soldiers and people who works with them.
Such as anyone who is there trying to help the Iraqi people, even other
muslims.
EH>> They murdered many innocent Fahlujans merely because they weren't
EH>> observing Sharia law that Zarqawi put into effect.
BF> I can't comment on that since I don't know. Perhaps you are right.
Right, so you discount that aspect of things as irrelevant.
EH>> Sure some of our bombs and bullets have killed innocent civilians,
EH>> but not purposefully. Our troops did and do their best to limit
EH>> unintended casualties.
BF> I hope so.
BF>>> He didn't have a Clue<tm> about whom he is killing. Only
BF>>> reffering to them as "bad guys".
EH>> Why should he care who he was killing as long as they were the bad
EH>> guys?
BF> Hell of a job to see the difference, eh..?
EH>> He wasn't just walking down the street killing anyone and everyone
EH>> he encountered.
BF> He didn't say anything about that it so we don't know.
BF> Hopefully he doesn't.
EH>> You assume that because he didn't know the ethnic background of
EH>> those he was tasked to eliminate it's a bad thing.
BF> I didn't assume anything.
BF>>> Since that's a part of the history nor you or I have a Clue<tm>
BF>>> of what should have happend.
EH>> Huh? Are you smoking something strange?
BF> No, that's illegal here.
BF>>> EH> You are a hipocrit of the highest order.
BF>>>
BF>>> :-)
EH>> You think that is funny?
BF> Yes, since it's easy for you to see the grain in my eye and not
BF> the log in your own.
We're a lot harder on our own people when they screw up than any of you
pacifist types. Ed called you a hypocrit because you are, and I agree with
him.
BF>>> BF>> His job isn't to kill unarmed soldiers.
BF>>>
BF>>> EH> The terrorist the Marine shot was NOT a soldier.
BF>>>
BF>>> Above you had no idea of what he was.
EH>> No, I am not sure of his ethnic background, but I do know he was
EH>> an enemy combatant.
BF> What makes you so sure now?
BF>>> BF>> And a clear building means that everyone inside are dead?
BF>>>
BF>>> EH> You said that, not me. If all you can do is be
BF>>> EH> intellectually
BF>>> dishonest,
BF>>> EH> you can leave.
BF>>>
BF>>> I didn't say it. Can you see that there is a ? at the end of the
BF>>> sentence?
EH>> Whether there is a question mark at the end or not makes no
EH>> difference. It was you, who made the comment. Not I.
BF> Now it must be you that have been smoking somethig strange.
BF> It *wasn't* a comment, it was a *question*, therefore the question
BF> mark.
BF> Please 007, try to pay attention. -- Q
BF>>> And yes, I might as well leave since this was the worst pro
BF>>> American echo I ever have seen.
EH>> Tough luck, Bjorn. This IS an American politics echo. If you'd
EH>> rather an anti-American echo, go find one.
BF> It must be very pleasant to have an echo where everyone scratches
BF> each others backs and skrew the rest.
Yup.
BF>>> If I don't say Sieg Heil America I can go to hell, can't I?
If the only reason you post here is to take potshots at the US, then yeah, you
can go straight to hell. So far, you haven't done a hell of a lot to try to
understand what we are trying to tell you.
EH>> Oh yeah, the obligatory Nazi reference. Why is it that every
EH>> leftist has to make such a reference? It was Sweden who allied
EH>> itself with Nazi Germany.
BF> How do you know I'm a leftie?
BF> And Sweden was NEVER EVER allied with Nazi Germany. Can you get
BF> that into your skull. As you hopefully by now have read, Swedes even took
BF> down a couple of Nazi planes. My father was one of the shooters.
Neither was France, but it sure as hell was full of collaborators.
BF>>> You just can't see that someone else have another point of
BF>>> wiew......
EH>> That isn't it and you know it. You appear to be the one who can't
EH>> stand an opposite viewpoint.
BF> mmmmm.....intresting.
BF> Why do you then keep on telling me that you do whatever you want
BF> without
BF> asking anyone?
BF>>> You just go to Church and confess, say 10 Ave Maria and then take
BF>>> you guns and shoot your neighbur, all in the name of your
BF>>> God.....and then USA is the worlds biggest porn-movie maker, but
BF>>> still, whatever USA does, no one have the right to question it.
EH>> First, I'm not Roman Catholic. Second, your irrational hatred of
EH>> America is showing.
BF> Why would I hate you? Because you are killing each other?
EH>> I am not a consumer of pron so I wouldn't have any idea where it
EH>> comes from.
BF> Now you know it comes from USA.
Oh, please. The first successful porn that was marketed here in the early 70's
was under the name of "Swedish Erotica." There was a reason why it was called
that. Denmark and Sweden are both rife with porn dealers, both in print and on
the internet, which they sell here at cut rate prices. I get tons of such crap
as spam in my email. You can't get away from it.
